Western Digital Launches SATA Drives E-mail

Western Digital has expanded its RE hard disk portfolio with the launch of new SATA hard disk drives.

He said that the RE3 750GB and 1TB drive combine 32MB cache and a strengthening of vibration and shock tolerance, and to offer 1.2 million hours mean time between failures, a native of commands, time limited error recovery, and process testing.

Other features include StableTrac, dual processor, Raff technology of the third generation dynamic flying height, thermal extended burn-in trial, and NoTouch ramp load technology.

The company said the drives can increase performance by about 20% and up to 60% in high-vibration environments. Following the liberation of society, last month launching a 2.5 "10000 RPM SATA hard disk for blade servers and 1U and 2U rack servers.

Tom McDorman, vice president and general manager of enterprise storage solutions WD, said: "WD continues to offer business customers the best combination of features, better performance, reliability and above".

The WD RE3 1 TB and 750GB hard drives cost $ 249 and $ 199, respectively
