While the browser, news slowly past few days, except for some releases, the guys at Opera Software has been very tense. Not only software but also opens up more parts of development. Yup, Opera Software is sufficiently open to the closed society of software, compared to the other. First of all Opera Desktop Team has released another batch of images for the upcoming Opera 9.52 which should include another load of corrections to smooth kestrel common experience. But this post is special, as Julien Picalausa, developer of Windows, explains bit of history about the procedure for release. How to get opera brought to you from source compiled a nice little graphical installer. Another interesting is that the development of Opera Software Quality Assurance Division has begun its own blog, which will allow readers to learn that testers and QA engineers do in opera, as well as to discuss more general issues of quality assurance. Yup, this means that you know, have a blog where you can see how the process is currently happening, and may make comments if you believe, Opera Software in OK could do better. This is a good development, how often people have been nagging about the quality of the Opera browser on the computer for some time and is now in a position to play a more active role in the process. Last but not least, opera Labs is back with a new assembly! Experimental at best, it features build something similar to the latest snapshot of 9.52, but adds, sweet, sweet candy to him, like file I / O support of widgets (a proposal for a standard W3C), royalty-free Ogg Theora video format support, and 3D canvas through support JavaScript on several platforms. |
