How anti-virus scanning of the work of the »

Each time you send and receive Annex, Gmail will automatically scan them for viruses.

If the virus is found in an attachment you've received, our system will attempt to delete it, or clean the file, so you can still access the information it contains. If the virus can not be deleted from the document, you will not be able to download.

If the virus is found in the annex that you want to send, you will not be able to send messages until you delete the annex.

Google already have a good spam filter and fraud detection, which is another way, Google will be "trust" points with their users. Gmail right now, only blocks. exe files, which have a high probability of being infected. By not. exe files, most of the virus is not passed, but fully mature anti-virus functions, should help eliminate the virus completely.
