Amazon's light display transplant, Sony Reader acts as a donor

Oh sure, we saw a few hacks for the sales area hotly (but still ugly) Amazon turn, but we have yet to see a hardware mod of this magnitude. We have always known that desperate times call for desperate measures, and obviously said mantra is very true.

After the display in turn his mandate about 8 months ago (thanks, kid sister ...), blakebevin referred perform surgery without precedent.
